*Everyday is a "CELL" a-bration."

Leavenworth
The "First City in Kansas," established in 1854 is located on the west banks of the Missouri River. Leavenworth has numerous historic vintage homes, sites, depots, and, of course, the "Big House", the United States Federal Penitentiary.

Fort Leavenworth
Adjacent to the north of Leavenworth, is the oldest Fort west of the Mississippi River in continuous service. The Fort is one of the most beautiful and well-maintained forts in the United States. A multitude of historical sites such as the Buffalo Soldier Monument, Santa Fe & Oregon Trail cuts and the National Cemetery are open daily to the public.   The Frontier Army Museum is open M-F 9am-4pm and Sat 10am-4pm, closed on Sundays and Holidays.
